The law firm of Capizola, Lapham & Fralinger is located at 100 North Main Road, Route 555, Vineland, New Jersey 08360. The firm was established by Mr. Capizola at this location in 1981. At the present time, the firm consists of four attorneys and a support staff of approximately 14. The firm’s attorneys come from diverse backgrounds and bring a broad range of education and experience to the practice. A team approach is used on all major cases.

Michael D. Capizola, the senior partner, is a native of the Vineland area. He was admitted to the Bar in New Jersey in 1965 and also is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court and the United States Supreme Court. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Law School, cum laude, where he was an editor and treasurer of the Harvard Law Review. Mr. Capizola has experience in litigation, business, real estate and estates and wills.

Barbara R. Lapham is originally from North Jersey but relocated to the Vineland, New Jersey area after graduating from Law School. Ms. Lapham graduated from Upsala College, summa cum laude, and Rutgers University School of Law, Camden with high honors. Ms. Lapham was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey in 1985. She was a staff member and Managing Editor of the Rutgers Camden Law Journal. Before joining the firm, Ms. Lapham served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Edward S. Miller, J.S.C. in the Chancery Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey for Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties. Ms. Lapham is active in the management of the firm and has a background in school law, banking, business, real estate and litigation.

Michael P. Fralinger is a native of the Bridgeton area. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey in 1996. He is a graduate of West Chester University and Widener University School of Law where he was in the Trial Advocacy Program. Before joining the firm, Mr. Fralinger was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael Brooke Fisher, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, in Cumberland County. Mr. Fralinger has a broad range of experience in both civil litigation, bankruptcy, municipal court, workers’ compensation and business and real estate, including zoning, planning and land development.

Richard A. Asselta is a native of the Vineland area. He is a graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C., and Nova Southeastern University of Law in Florida, where he served as an Associate Editor of the school's Law Review. Mr. Asselta was admitted to practice in Florida in 1999 and in New Jersey in 2007. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the State of New Jersey and Southern District of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Asselta specializes in civil litigation.
